Nice spring weather is a good excuse to get outside and enjoy the warmth and sunshine.
Let's say goodbye to winter by cleaning your vehicle.
Start with the interior.
A good vacuuming to remove all the salt dust and debris from the carpet and seats. Be aggressive when vacuuming. I learned a trick years ago to loosen dirt from carpets. Take a vibrating sander with no sand paper on it and lay it on the carpet. When you turn it on it will shake a lot of dirt from the carpet which your vacuum will easily pick up. This will make short work of a dirty task.
Use a duster or damp microfiber cloth to dust the dash and door panels.
Next do the windows. Dirty windows take longer to defrost than clean windows.
A thorough wash of the exterior is next. Be sure to use a different brush and soap to clean the tires and wheels.
If you decide to apply a polish be sure to do it in the shade so the wax doesn't streak.
People always enjoy seeing a nice clean shiny vehicle.
Book your vehicle in for a spring service including changing your winter tires. Vehicles look better with the summer wheels and tires on.
